I don't know what it's made of, but it's not a paper towel. It's very strong, unlike any towel I've used in the past, these blue shop towels didn't do anything. You can tug, tug, nudge and it just holds up great even when it gets wet they are durable. Thin as a paper towel but as strong as a piece of cloth. I wiped and washed off the mess, using the same towel over and over again. This eliminates a lot of waste when I can just use one towel instead of a handful of regular paper towels. What's really good is that it doesn't break or fall off. You can rub and rub things hard and they won't fall apart. Great towels! Until you actually use a towel, you'll never know how durable it is. Unbelievable. But damn, they're expensive. I think when you consider that you don't have to use that much and that it's basically a disposable rag (as opposed to a paper towel) then the value makes more sense. I won't be using these for everyday use due to the cost, but when heavy work comes up I reach for this towel first.
