Seriously, I think I'm going crazy trying to figure out how audio devices work in Windows. Do you have a headset? Does the fork have three or four rings? Four = Microphone connected. Okay, does your input jack support this? Check your PC's documentation. No? You will then need a splitter, one for the microphone input and one for the speakers. How do I access the speaker and microphone settings in Windows? Volume? sound card? impedance? Etc. Well, for me, this thing bypasses all that. Plug in a headset with a mic, plug it into a USB port - 2.0 seems to work - and it's all relatively transparent. The microphone recording and playback volume seems to be low (Audacity, MusicBee), but it could very well be: 1. My PC; 2. My test "gaming" headset; 3. Aliens on Mars. To tell the truth - well, even though I've been making electronics and music for decades - I don't care. Works without drivers and other things. For 8 bucks? Enter it. Rotation?
