The case is heated, strongly. There was a kettle from another company, once x7 is cheaper, so the case did not warm up there. Everything was safe. This model is not safe - a child can approach, touch and burn himself. With its pros: Stylish and beautiful teapot. It's SMEG! Heats up quietly and quickly! Looks top! With its cons: The body heats up. For such a price, I did not expect such a shortcoming. After boiling, the case is incredibly hot. Not safe for a child who can touch and get burned.
