Pull down the tip that was first removed from the tube.
The drip tip has a stud end and screws into the top of the tube. At the end of the tube are tiny indentations into which a screw can be screwed. They are not good enough to hold the tip when pressure is applied. We bought it to pull the awning onto our trailer. Super glued the tip back into the tip of the tube. Used once and the tip stayed in the tube. I don't know how many uses it will last.
