I like that they are very upfront about what their process is for investing in your startup/company.

They take an active role in helping you get ready so it's not just another passive investor who will be happy when he gets his check at month end without really knowing anything more than "we invested". It can sometimes feel as if there isn't enough transparency around how much money was spent compared to other VCs but maybe this has changed since we started working w them? If you need someone who knows exactly where to go next to keep moving forward then DTI definitely fits those needs! The amount of knowledge they have across all areas makes them valuable partners.
