We used this product to test the force required to open and close renovated historic windows. Our previous tester wasn't digital and was very difficult to read. I really like the digital block. Works great and very fast. Directions were a form of broken English which was very difficult to understand and didn't provide enough information. After many tries we couldn't change the limit alarm function, but other than that it's a great tool and very accurate. Very easy to use
