Great little SATA card. It was easy to install into an open PCI slot, plug in hard drives and they were immediately recognized by the BIOS of an Asus Prime H310M-E R2.0 motherboard and Ubuntu Server 20.04 on my home server/NAS. Setting up software RAID was also very easy during installation. Ubuntu server. Uses 2 HGST UltraStar 4TB drives and 2 WD Blue 500GB drives as 2 separate RAID1 sets. It took about 5 hours to sync 4TB drives and about 30 minutes for 500GB drives. Hopefully we'll soon be replacing the WD drives with two more HGSTs to increase storage capacity. Hope it lasts!
