They are great! I like that they are non-toxic because I have goldfish in my horse trough and don't want them to be poisoned under my care. My horse and donkeys were unsure at first about the smell but quickly decided it was nice that 'mama' gave them a special rub and conditioner for their snouts AND not a scary spray! We don't have a bad fly problem because I use various measures to suppress the fly population: predators, stink traps, and scavengers that hang over the stink traps to kill the flies before they get into the trap. In addition, the quail go through fresh manure before reaching it, pecking out the fly larvae. Of course works with my circumstances. Don't expect flies to drop dead like pesticides, but feel good knowing you're not exposing yourself, your animals, or any part of nature to toxic substances.
