It was like having a toddler and I was really bored by his curiosity. His tunnel arrived yesterday so I created a makeshift playground for him. Last night he showed no interest but this morning after breakfast as he continued his daily exploration of new holes he found them and I'm pretty sure he heard angels singing. He paced back and forth for at least 30 minutes, then lay down in one of the boxes and napped for an hour. After that he went to fetch hay but returned immediately and stayed there for at least 3 hours. Needless to say I'm very glad we found a hole we can both agree on and I think I'll try the separately sold tent for one of the ends.
