much harder work (thicker core) than the original block. Unfortunately the shaft was about 3/4" too short so I had to use the shaft from the old motor which luckily fitted. There were many problems as the shaft had to be inserted directly into the armature in order to fit into the motor fit, and the shims had to be repositioned for proper play or it wouldn't rotate.And then the one sided plug was rotated 180 degrees so it conflicted with the plug next to it so the blade had to be cut to get it to fit the outlet, swapped 180 degrees.I followed the sticker on the bracket by the model number (665, 668, 605) so I may have ordered the wrong block.The first one I ordered still had one shorter splined shaft instead of a flat one, and fan blades didn't fit.It was $13 cheaper but clearly unusable.Be aware of these differences if you don't have the exact model number and age of your bathroom you may get don't provide an exact or even working substitute.
