Description of Adjustable Regulator Generator PEMENOL Controller

★Digital rotary encoder button:The rotary encoder adopts the principle of digital pulse, the output will be as much as you rotate it, and the same value will be input when you rotate it next time. Good repeatability, high precision, can be quickly adjusted to the value you want. ★Soft-start protection:The motor controller has a soft-start protection function that can effectively reduce the inrush current, protect the motor and prolong the life of the motor. ★Duty cycle, duty cycle upper and lower limits and working frequency can be set:The 3 digits LED motor speed regulator can adjust the duty cycle, the upper and lower duty cycle limits and the operating frequency. Convenient for customers to use according to the working characteristics of their own motors. The adjustable electronic speed controller can automatically save the set parameters to prevent data loss after a power failure. ★With the start and stop button: The PWM DC motor governor with start and stop button, and can be controlled by an external switch, meet your multiple control needs. Maximum power: 150W. Working voltage: DC5V~30V, input with anti-reverse connection protection. ★Note: This product can only be used for DC brushed motors, not for brushless motors. Great controller for stupid PC cooling pumps.

I am using this to control the pump speed of a BXQINLENX 600L water cooling pump. The minimum load function is great for those "dumb" pumps. Once I found a sweet spot for my particular 75 setup, I set it to the minimum duty cycle. If I ever decide to increase my setting, I can easily increase it to 100 if needed.

Ideal for assembly and accessories

Works great with two 12V/80W fans. The variable resistor does not have a switch, but there is a separate 3-position start/stop/brake switch on the circuit board. Make instructions on how to use the switch. There is a fuse in the case and a built-in fuse. At 10-20% of the cycle I hear a slight whistling, but the device works fine

Excellent and easy to use PWM speed controller

I really liked this speed controller and it worked well for a DC motor used in a light drill. Note, however, that they operate without any kind of feedback and therefore do not offer variable speed, meaning that the speed will also change as your engine load changes. However, the overall performance is excellent and the display is wonderful. special feature.

Pros

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Excellent for controlling computer fans used in the fridge to circulate air

Easy to connect and use. Excellent control of the 70mm computer fans installed in my RV fridge to circulate air as needed. I was able to adjust the speed evenly to balance the noise effect and now our food stays fresh without getting cold or hot. It has good current handling as I can easily run two 70m fans. If only I could find my setup photos.

Doesn't work well with mounts and accessories

In short, this controller sucks. The knob doesn't bounce, so try rotating it one "click" and it moves 10 steps. In addition, the PWM functionality is highly non-linear and depends on the switching frequency. Essentially you need to estimate/measure the output voltage in % as the "50" shown is not 50% of your input voltage at all. "88" means 75% and "92" means 100%. Who wants 25% of their input range set to 4% of the controller's range?

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Pleasantly Surprised

I needed something to control the relative speed of the two motors so I bought two of these after struggling with the more expensive (and less feature rich) options. So far I've been very happy. They have a slow soft start, maintain their duty cycle settings, offer local on/off control, allow me to set the PWM frequency and I haven't been able to kill them yet. I'm running them at 24V at around 1A, which is well within their limits, which probably helps. Note that on/off control is always…

Good motor controller for money

[09/29/2020 My mistake, accidentally sent to the wrong place a few days ago] Just received a PEMENOL motor speed controller. Connected to a 30V 10A DC power supply for testing. It turned on normally when I plugged in the power adapter. The LED display is easy to read. The output of the device is switched by pressing the control button. There is an LED above the handle that indicates whether it is on or off. The knob has gentle indentations as you turn it, showing the PW percentage on the LED…

Excellent PWM controller with intuitive user interface.

This motor controller is very easy to set up thanks to the screw terminals and easy to use thanks to the minimalist user interface. Output indicated by a green LED above. It's easier compared to more buttons. There is a solder connection for an optional external on/off switch that can be connected to a momentary switch which appeared to short out the output. I liked that it can be used immediately without having to do any settings, the frequency was set to 20 kHz. Long press the rotary switch…

A simple motor controller works as expected.

The controller worked right away, but there are three settings that can be adjusted to make it work better. The first two parameters are the upper and lower limits of the duty cycle. The controller uses pulse width modulation to change the speed of the motor. The controller does not change the voltage to the motor, only the length of time the motor is powered. The default lower duty cycle limit is 0, which means the motor is never powered. The default upper limit is 100, which means the motor…
