Description of Hankook Tire Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 185/65 R15 92T

The Hankook iPike RS2 winter tire, like the model of the now previous generation, is designed for passenger cars. It is characterized by improved traction on slippery surfaces, braking efficiency and reliability in difficult road conditions. The key difference between this tire and the first generation iPike RS is the tread pattern. Its design remained symmetrical and directional, but the shape, size and arrangement of the elements changed significantly. The central part contains larger intersecting blocks. This noticeably optimizes the distribution of the external load across the contact patch...

A good product, more pros than cons.

Excellent tires, with careful driving and proper operation, will serve me at least 3 more seasons. In size r16 215/65 I got it in November 2022 6850r/piece. Production Korea I think this is the best purchase for the money, I do not think that Cordiant would be better.

Pros
  • - Minimal wear per season - (100 km ran on dry pavement no more than 50 km / h, another 200 no more than 79 km / h) out of 4 tires on one lost 1 stud -ice snow on the shoulder, rowing, rushing like a train, slows down (taking into account the weather) perfectly.
Cons
  • -Of course, the noise (but the spike that was before after 300 km buzzed) the henkuk makes noise but is tolerable, it does not put pressure on the ears. You can't hear it in the snow at all. -deeply small stones are stuffed into thin lamellas, knocking on the fender liner and sills at speed. Not the worst.

A two-year rider! I refuse to give in and change. Completely content! Before it, there was a bridge, a dunlop, and spikes; they all create noise but are more expensive by a factor of 1.5. Whoever wants a spike, please accept it without question.

Pros
  • You require controllability, and that applies to any surface within reason. (Parallel thinking is a normal cognitive process!). I did a lot of highway travel in the spring on dry asphalt and decided I wouldn't worry about counting the spikes. In the photo from Season 2, I've just switched shoes and made sure everything is in order, including the tread. Never got mired down in it. Crushes ice and snow the way they should be!
Cons
  • No complaints from me, especially at this pricing! I'll say it for the people with the most sensitive ears: there's noise, and you shouldn't be too judgmental about it. Unfortunately, they're thorns.

The product is completely satisfied, performs its functions.

There was a distinct street-worn smell to the rubber when it arrived. The standard rubber has a sticker with a marking, but not this one; it's 21 years old, 27 weeks old, and it's covered in gray-yellow dust.

Pros
  • There was a cost in the past!
Cons
  • Six-month payment plan increased from $16,000 to $24,000.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I have used this rubber and found it to be excellent in every way (price, quality, and performance). Considering the severity of the recent winter, this vehicle is surprisingly quiet and stable on the road.

Pros
  • This brand's rubber has stood the test of time; the native species is still alive and well, and in theory, 95% of the spikes are still attached. The tread hasn't been the same on my 7-year-old pair of native rubber, so I figured it was time for an upgrade. The creation date of these brand-new tires is the first day of the next 21 years.

I took it in October 2022. At the time of writing, none of the spikes have fallen out. I almost regretted the money spent (4300 for a wheel size 205/55 R16). Its pros: Not a high price for excellent soft rubber. Spikes "asterisk" perfectly cling to the ice. Beautiful tread, rows well in the snow. Steadily behaves in turns on an icy road, the car does not blow. On the pavement, there are also no complaints, Different cons: the sidewall is not thick, but at the moment this has not affected in any

I'm satisfied, the product is exactly as described.

I use tires with a 215.502022-sized rubber. There was some noise in the first hundred kilometers after I put the tires on, but as I rolled them in, there was none. I clocked 3 t. Km after setting it and rolling it on country roads where they almost didn't clear the snow at speeds of 80-90 mph. Due to the soft rubber and little spikes, they are completely silent at highway speeds. A confident driver pushes the automobile out of the snow. In the event of snow, it is safe to travel faster than the

Pros
  • One, it's not the priciest option out there. 2) There is not much background noise for the spikes. 3) Performs admirably in the snow Asphalt and "porridge" make for effective braking surfaces.
Cons
  • The rubber soles of the boots and the toes compress slightly when braking on ice.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

I am delighted! I drove roughly 15 hours to pick her up during the winter of 2019. The condition is almost as good as new; one of the spikes on the wheel has been removed (this picture was taken at the beginning of the current season, immediately after the 15th run). Handling and braking is really fantastic! In spite of the fact that I do not possess abs and esp, everything is crystal obvious and can be predicted. After trying a variety of well-known tires, including Nokian, I believe that this

Pros
  • Control and stopping power, resilience to wear, and visual appeal
Cons
  • There is no such thing in existence.

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Some advantages include the fact that it does not create any noise, it did not get stuck anywhere throughout the winter of 2021, all of the spikes are still alive, and the sidewalls do not have any hernias. A variety of disadvantages include the following: when driving on a wet asphalt rut, the automobile is difficult to control, and you will need to slow down and drive more slowly than the flow of cars that are passing you.

Unattractive product, unprofitable purchase.

My measurements are 205/50/r17. Four tires were purchased at the end of winter and cost 21 dollars each. Prior to that, there were bridgestone tires that had been used for 9 years. In most cases, new ones have been placed in place. On the first day, I noticed something crawling in the front left corner. Surprised. Because earlier in the winter, there has been none for the past 9 years! On the fourth day, I flew into the hole on the right side of the wheel (the width along the wheel is 25-30 cm,

Pros
  • Good handling. They do a good job of maintaining the road.
Cons
  • Unreliable

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

With its positives being: Machine Stinger, size 225/45/18, spikes in situ, operation in the mane and tail. Cons: Weak sidewall, and a wheel was damaged for the second time this season in the pit.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

You should not take it, it does not meet any standards.

I purchased this rubber on October 15th, 2022, and it is currently the third winter. I looked at the front tires, and they had a lot of spikes, and the core section of the tire was shattered. There was no indication of this on any of my winter tires that I can recall. At the same time, it would appear that the rubber also wears out quite a bit because there are now spikes protruding from it. It was like that on the second Michelin X Ice Nord 2 mine, so presumably there was some kind of marriage

Pros
  • There is not much tire noise. Maintains a firm grip on the road.
Cons
  • Removes the spikes' centralized portion and breaks it off. As the tires wear down, the spikes start to protrude. It is uncomfortable to be in the snow.

As I make use of it, I will write remarks. 212022202222 I decided to get my wife a 1.6-liter front-wheel drive sedan. I completed a run-in by myself, which consisted of 0-600 kilometers on dry and wet asphalt at a temperature of +4 +1 degrees Celsius. After the race, one's feelings may vary. Formula ICE, Michelin XIN3, and Continental IceContact are three winter tire brands that the author has experience with. The amount of noise has decreased to a point that it is no longer bothersome; there…

Pros
  • Quiet, acceptable, spikes in place
Cons
  • Compromise on dry pavement

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

Has some pros: The spikes have been established during the second season. It seems to work fairly well on snow and ice. Cons: Noisy. Particularly on asphalt that has been cleaned. Perhaps as a result of the automobile (a Kia cerate 2022).

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

travelled throughout the winter, switched shoes, and checked the condition of the tires. The rubber has nearly none of its studs worn down, and there are no missing spikes. The edges of the spikes are somewhat pointy (one of them sliced my finger).

You can take it, but with sedate driving, it can be enough for 4 seasons. Not for active driving, although it is good to steer. Has some pros: Size 195/55 r16 skated 2 seasons, another third will leave. I liked the directional stability, the hook on almost any surface, cornering. Got cons: Studs fly out during a light winter and active driving, after the first season about 30 studded, after the second about 80, but only on the drive wheels.

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Before switching to these shoes for my swallow in these tires, I skated for a number of seasons on Nordman 7, which is where I started off. After leaving the tire store, the very first thing I want to make a note of is: "did they change my shoes for sure?" The tires are extraordinarily quiet (of course, not on a summer highway, but in comparison to Nordman, it's just heaven and earth, the same Continental ice contact 3 is much noisier). Some customers said in the comments that they experienced…

Pros
  • Quiet, soft, passable
Cons
  • When traveling at low speeds, the concept of "zero" has become less objective.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Total disappointment, the product is terrible.

The tires are so defective that not only can they not be used, but even the car will not stand on them for more than a few hours, and at the same time the store refuses to fix the matter swiftly. In summary, the car is not running, time and money have been spent, the tires are so defective that not only can they not be used, but even the car will not stand on them for more than a few hours. To be honest, I have no idea which scenario is more problematic: having issues with tires or having…

Cons
  • After mounting the Hankook Winter i * Pike RS2 W429 tires into the wheels, the process took just about an hour and a half. During this time, one of the wheels had become obviously deflated, and the other wheel had also aroused suspicion and required pumping. In order to figure out what the issue was, I had to go back to the tire shop. It was discovered that the first wheel had three (three!) separate holes, and the second wheel had two separate holes, one on each of the inner and outer edges of the tires. All of the holes are located on the shoulder. They were impolite and told to go overboard on their own, and they would bring the tires that were already missing discs to be submitted for investigation in the Wheels for Nothing store, which is where I got it and where there is a tire service. However, they refused to repair the problem. It was at nine o'clock at night during the season when the record was set at tire shops for the next few days! Despite the fact that the tires were dropped so rapidly, I had to pump up the wheels before traveling from the tire shop to the store and back again, this is the result. Those. Even if I had waited until the morning, I would have been unable to leave the car because it would have been on the disks by then. During the process of re-beading, it was discovered that there was a third tire with a connection to the same couple! Those. I have discovered that all of the tires in the batch with a manufacture date of 1819 are flawed, with the exception of the last fourth one, which has a production date of 1419. On this particular tire, a flaw of the same kind has not yet been discovered, but it is possible that it will do so at a later time or that it will be a unique flaw altogether. If it doesn't have at least three (three!) defective tires, it's not real. Because the tire fitting suggested that this was a tread welding problem, which indicates that it may progress along the entire seam, it's a good thing that it turned out to be spotted quickly and that it wasn't left somewhere on the road with three wheels that had parted. This would have been a dangerous situation.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

In general, the tires are of extremely high quality, as I mentioned before without omitting the spikes, and there are a significant number of them, approximately 180 individual pieces. the tire digs itself out of the deep snow where the GOODYEAR Ultra Grip Ice Arctic immediately burrowed, but unlike them with the hancock, there was a slight uncertainty in the turns, with Goodyear there was no such thing there, he entered the turn at full throttle with the confidence that everything would be…

Pros
  • The first rubber that would not cause studs to fall off throughout the winter. It travels extremely confidently over deep snow and does not quickly dig itself in. also delicious when served on the ice. The tires were to my liking.
Cons
  • After installing the GOODYEAR Ultra Grip Ice Arctic tires, there was a feeling of vague uneasiness regarding the behavior of the automobile; yet, the vehicle always went where it was supposed to go and did not engage in any destructive behaviors such as sliding or other such activities.
