I use them for other purposes. I use them to work with polymer clay. they rock! I have delicate hands, so the clay wears them out. I saw them as an alternative to a set by an artist called Pandora. I couldn't afford their "Reeders" so two sets from this collection are perfect! I've been using them for a few days and have found that I like the price and versatility of the size. The long one is ideal for shortening leaves. The larger square is ideal for making double-tapered beads, while the other two are large reed ends to reduce tone waste. I've only tried one set but I know they work better if I have a second set so I check and then buy new ones. They are very strong due to the thickness and the lines have a slight embossing that only leaves a whisper imprint in the tone if I use the wrong side of the block. Super happy with this purchase.
