We bought several pairs of boots to find a pair that was easy to put on and take off and that the dog would tolerate. Those were the clear winners. Although they require some effort to get right in, they are very easy to solve. And Tucker (the dog) gets along well with her. They protect his feet from ice, salt and other sharp objects when walking in winter. I don't think they would be great for keeping a dog's paws dry and warm during a very long walk, but for protecting sensitive paws on daily walks they work great.
