If you're using it right now, you're fine. But if you want or need to turn your laptop left or right, the tilted platform won't work - the laptop will skew and slide as you turn it. It is easy to assemble and durable. I have a 15 inch laptop and it fits. However, I have to position my laptop to enhance the background, but since it ends up distorted, that doesn't work. Should have gotten one without a ramp.
