These straws are aesthetically pleasing. Beautiful natural green bamboo with a laser etched logo, a beautiful outer shape and an almost shiny smoothness. The 8-inch size allows for portability in a bamboo to-go-ware utility case. They fit in any standard smoothie or juice cup. Especially practical in the glass! the smallest straw cleaners we had, not the one that came in the pack. I was lucky enough to have a few cleaners from my hummingbird straw orders. I think a super thin brush would do the job. Hopefully in the future from a more eco-friendly material like sisal fiber. I also recommend cleaning them beforehand. I haven't, and I'm sure I got fiber reinforcement, but they seem a little, I don't know, unfinished on the inside. You have to blow out excess chips Overall I like the product and I no longer have to buy more straws. 12 should be enough for the next 20 years! And of course we use them. They also work well with simple smoothies. The mouthfeel is good, no plastic taste, does not bite the lip like stainless steel straws. for sensitive teeth and oral cavity. Bamboo is "softer" than glass or stainless steel. But super durable. This is a worthwhile and worthy purchase that I have no regrets about. I wear one everywhere. The family is for life.
