My scalp was very oily as it compensated for my super dry scalp. So, ironically, I had super dry, itchy, flaky scalp but super greasy hair. I have tried Pureology, Bondi Beach, Head and Shoulders, Aveda, Maui Humidity and many more. They all dry out the scalp and cause irritation. I've only used it ONCE and my scalp feels relieved! I used the "condition-wash-condition" method, applying just a pea sized amount to the length, then shampooed my hair, massaged the scalp for about 2 minutes, let it sit for another 2 minutes , then rinsed and applied about the size of a teaspoon. Apply conditioner and leave on for five minutes. The scalp feels relieved and moisturized.
