We bought a new house that we used to rent and it turned out that every door had its own key. We called the local locksmith and they offered us $20-$25 per lock to rekey them all to the same key. It was actually cheaper to buy them and replace them yourself and still have the keys. So this saved me some money replacing the old beat up buttons with some pretty new ones. The handles appear to be of good quality and come with everything you need to install them on almost any door. Replacing with the same key takes seconds and is very simple. In the end (I installed 11 of these, including handles and bolts) I knocked them out (remove the old one, install the new one, and replace the key) in a few minutes. I don't know how locksmiths stay in business, this purchase was so much easier, cheaper and looks so much better. I highly recommend it! FYI these bolts only have a key on one side which is preferable but you can't tell from the pictures.
