The air filter was stuck on the back of my 20" fan but I needed something to hold it in place. They work great and I have two small ones left. I leave it on all the time until it's time to wash it, it cleans the air much better that way (because it's used 24/7) than if I have it for my AC (I have everything, it also gives exactly that). same and a different kind for my air conditioner, but this one I clean every month, the one I clean every time I see another one getting dirty). These clips stay on until I remove them and even if I need to rearrange or relocate the fan. The best I've bought in a long time.
