The medium is a bit loose around the middle (I'm fairly slim, though--5'8", 155lb.). Overall, the fit is pretty nice (much better after shrinking in the washer/dryer), though I've noticed the tiniest bit of fraying on the sleeves after a couple of washes. Will have to keep an eye out. I bought these in light gray and navy. If the company made some in other lighter colors (e.g., beige, light brown), I'd probably buy more.
