This is my third table protector of this kind. My first one lasted me about 17 years but looked terrible. Then I bought one from a local store that got two small tears in it within a month of having it on my dining room table. I still used it but then a friends' crockpot kind of melted it and I needed a new one. I have an extra long table (115 inches) so I wanted one that was way bigger than the table that I could cut to size if needed because the 120" ones just weren't working for me when I had the table extended all the way.I stumbled across this one. It had good reviews, was more than long enough and a good price so I ordered. I was VERY pleased when I got it. I like that it is not as textured as the other ones I had. Most of the time I use a tablecloth but for some projects I only use the table pad and having it textured makes it very hard to clean. This one also feels a lot more heavy duty than the other two I had without being too bulky. When my table is the smaller size I fold some of it under on each side to make it fit the smaller table and you can hardly tell. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good table pad like this!
