Switched from GTX 1060 6g to this monster and just happy as an elephant. The old video card was not bad, but I wanted to upgrade to a more modern model with a margin for the future. Especially there was a desire to upgrade the video card due to the purchase of Red Dead Redemption 2, because playing such a game on average is simply a sin. Now RDR2 on fullHD goes completely at ultra, stable 60 fps, and other games even more so fly at maximum speed. With such a video card, you can forget what graphics settings are for a couple of years. VR also performs well without any problems. Heats up during AAA games with zero frost 64-69° turned on, in idle 37-35° is generally normal and even standard. With the zero frozr mode disabled in games, it is somewhere around 59-64 °, while idle it is 31-33 °. I didn’t really pay attention to how it was on the GTX 1060, but according to my feelings, the heat on this one was felt more noticeable at first during games than on the last one (especially in RDR2). I have an AeroCool P7-C1 glass case and the glass where the graphics card gets noticeably warm, just like the air around the case. But most likely this is due to the larger size of the video card and the more massive heatsink on it, the more the turntables blow into the board, and there is nowhere for air from the board and it blows into the glass and the top through the holes at the top of the case. But after a couple of days, I decided to put the fans to cool in MSI Afterburner from 70 ° to 83 °, but this is a purely personal pen, now the heating on the glass and air is not felt at all as at first. I'm used to the fact that the GTX 1060 did not feel the heating of the card at all at the factory settings. Now the ideal temperature and no discomfort. I am very pleased with the video card, its power, potential, cooling system, reliability and various goodies in the form of utilities and settings for it.
