I'm new to the comforter game so I don't know what their standard design is. I LOVE how it looks and feels. When I put my duvet in (it has small pieces in the corners to fasten it), the ties for the duvet were very uneven and difficult to tie. One side if the rope was about 2 inches long and the other side was an inch long. And so on for all 4 corners. I wish it had 8 bands instead of 4 because it's a bit chunky so I fluffed it up a bit to keep the insert flat. Otherwise I have no complaints. Again, I think it's nice to sleep in and I love the design.
