Review on 🔪 Crosscut Station by Kreg by Jeremy Gums

Safe, accurate and generally good design but the product has serious design flaws when it comes to cutting long straps. The capping station is made of high-quality plastic. I can't tell if the plastic will last for years, but it seems good enough. However, the plastic is too flexible and the station has no attachment points - and the lack of these becomes even more of a problem when the support wings are opened, minimizing the area that could be used for attachment. I usually cut 2X5 or 2X2, but when I try to make the first cut on a new joist (20 feet), it's almost impossible to balance the station on the table because it flexes, can't be fixed on the table and therefore the cut does not come out vertically directly. Not to mention this was designed for a circular saw that CANNOT be held properly with both hands as you use the other hand to prevent the station from bending. So either use the station on the floor - not very practical and again impossible to fix; or creating a custom table for the saw, which is something I wanted to avoid when purchasing the finished product. use. Sorry but wouldn't recommend it.
