Review on Burnished Bronze Metal Cable Grommet by Kevin Tompkins

The table we bought didn't have convenient holes for computer cables, so we decided to drill a hole and put a jack in it. I really like this purchase - looks like it came with the table. The first thing we like about it is that it consists of two parts. When we were looking for tables to buy the seller highly recommended the two piece grommet as it protects the exposed wood under the grommet. Although in theory you won't have to put the bushing in and out very often, having it in two pieces means that the part that stays in the actual hole wears out instead of the wood. The second thing we like is that the sleeve is metal. We bought the plastic one and immediately returned it because it just looked cheap in our expensive desk. This eyelet is durable and good looking. I highly recommend. We don't plan on drilling any more holes in our furniture (smile!), but if we do, I know which socket to buy!
