I originally wanted a mop that would save me the hassle of pulling out a bucket of water and wringing out a heavy mop every time I wanted to clean my floors . then I started thinking about my 10 month old son crawling on the floor and seeing how dirty his socks were at the end of the day. That's how I came to the decision to try the steam mop and after reading good reviews about it I decided it was worth a try. I am very happy with my steam cleaner. It's easy to use, has a carpet "mending" attachment (or carpet in my case), 2 washable pads, and a cord long enough that I don't have to plug it in every room. We have unsealed hardwood floors that pick up way too much dirt no matter how many times I mop, so at least this steam mop made mopping the floors easier. It produces a lot of hot steam quickly after switching on and cleans 2 medium-sized rooms with a full water tank. it is very easy to use, does not weigh much and cleans without pressing. I would recommend it to others looking for a steam cleaner.
