A few weeks ago I bought Jlab Go Air headphones from a local store. And of course, this is the cheapest end product among their wireless headphones. And of course the only reason I bought them over the higher model was that I was limited on funds. And of course (like most regular headphones) they had nothing but 3 pairs of silicone tips (small, medium and large). And of course, if neither of them suit you, you're done until you both find new earbuds that fit you better (headphone tolerances are so tight that you pretty much have to find a pair that fits you perfectly or you'll grow more be or less unwell or unhappy or ill or all of the above). So I basically couldn't use them until I got some tips that suit me perfectly. And Jlab doesn't seem to bother to pave the way for you to buy compatible handpieces from another company. They have compatible foam tips for sale that they make, but it's up to you if you want to buy something else. And you need to know exactly what you're looking for, because not only do you need to find earbuds that fit your ears, you also need to find earbuds that fit your charging case (and most earbuds sold here at Revain don't give all the measurements). You need ). So ok Buying the ones that Jlab sells for their own products is a safe buy. And the price isn't terrible. 10 dollars (US dollars). But be warned, you're paying quite a bit for a pair of tops (maybe 2 if you're lucky enough to match the mid-blue ones). So you can (essentially) pay $10 for a pair. And they don't last forever. Apparently. They're made out of foam, so they'll definitely wear out long before you want them to. And if they don't wear out, they'll get into your earwax and any form of nasty stuff that's in there. The good news is that blue suits me. I'm not sure I'm completely happy with them but they do the trick and if I could just buy 20 pairs of blues for a reasonable price I could handle them. But no. If I want more blues I have to pay $10 for each pair. If there's something I don't know, it's a deal. You get a great pair of long-lasting Bluetooth headphones at a great price, but you have to keep buying these things to use them. The most interesting thing is that I know this is done on purpose. Must be. I found a few other foam tips from other manufacturers that I was sure would fit, but since I'm not that familiar with the headphone landscape and don't want to mess around and spend $10 bucks here and there on chunks of foam, probably will I buy them over and over again. So when I put them in my ears correctly and the seal is perfect and whatnot, they are quite comfortable (definitely more comfortable than blown silicones) and the sound is much better. But honestly, headphones are still a compromise and lack the simplicity of just putting on headphones and listening to music without fuss. I feel like I've won a prize if I do everything right. So these tips are what you'll get by looking around here at Revain.
