By default, the system always uses full volume when powered on. Tried to resolve with a company in China to no avail. They tried to scam me out of a $20 refund and a downloadable PDF at TRY to solve the problem. I don't trust this route as it can infect my computers with a virus. This happened outside of Revain in what I felt was an indirect way. Also, the trigger wire was not identified by the radio, so I was able to connect it to the rear camera wiring. I finally figured it out after browsing many YouTube videos on the subject. My wise advice is that you better be careful if you are considering buying and installing one of these radios. My only purpose in this purchase was the rear camera and GPS which I am happy with so far. The volume problem is a real nuisance.
