The box has a tear on the inside. The styrofoam inside has completely crumbled. I'm pretty sure it was a return and not new. He had a lot of blonde hair on it like someone had thrown his hair in a box after cutting it. In addition to some pet hair all over the styrofoam and frame. I bought this to give to a friend who just lost his father but he is covered in hair so I don't think I can give it to her because of the crumbly packaging and lots of hair. The frame looks nice. Too bad it wasn't a return
