Autel OBD2 Code Scanner Diagnostic Tool

This Autel ML629 OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner has to be one of the most advanced budget diagnostic tools I have ever bought! An intermittent check engine light came on on my 2001 BMW M3 due to a faulty VANOS system. I've known this for a while and in anticipation of the test I wanted to get a diagnostic tool to check the problem before repairing it and make sure it was fixed after the repair so I bought it. Once I used it and saw how detailed and easy to use it was, I knew I had to check it out. I've uploaded photos of the steps so you can see for yourself! Once I connected the device to my BMW, I pressed scan. The device then asked if the car was Asian, European or American (none of my other code readers have ever asked me that!). I clicked on the European, then on the BMW. Clicking on BMW brings up a list of literally EVERY BMW model ever made! You just scroll down to your model and click on it, so I scrolled down to 81 M3_S54_COUPE. He then asks if you want to check the transmission or the engine system. I chose the motor system. The device then filled in my codes regarding VANOS and camshaft timing errors. Reset errors, rescanned computer, no errors yet. They'll come back eventually until I replace the magnet pack, but the Autel M629 diagnostic scanner does what it says on the tin and is very easy to use. Not only does it scan the engine and transmission computers, it also scans the ABS and SRS systems, but I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but I will! I am very happy with this purchase and plan on getting a few more for gifts for the upcoming holiday season! Thank you for reading!
