These shoes have been through a lot and really helped me. I always get nervous when I buy shoes online. However, I wanted an all black pair of comfortable trainers for a trip with a lot of walking (which I'm not used to), and all black shoes are hard to find in stores, so I took a chance. It worked. They came as expected. What matters to me, they have a roomy and high toe. They started out with decent arch support but I had specific needs so I switched the insoles to Superfeet. The outsole has an excellent shock-absorbing effect, which reduces discomfort when walking for a long time. If, like me, you're specifically looking for all-black shoes, note that there are some lettering and reflective strips that aren't black, but are minimal and easy to cover with marker. Reflectors still work after dimming. I wore them all day, every day, for over five weeks. They survived for many hours on pavement, rocks, dirt, mud, water, sand, chalk and an amazing amount of sheep piles. After that, they are tidied up and (as is usual with shoes) feel more comfortable than when they were new.
