Review on MICHELIN X-Ice 3 195/65 R15 95T winter by Danuta Lejman ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I didn't like it, I don't recommend buying.

I live in Hong Kong, winters are severe. I looked at numerous ratings of winter tires and almost everywhere it takes second place (after Nokian), everywhere they talk about a miracle rubber that has record values on ice and is well suited for harsh winters. I decided to believe in my own head and took this muck. It really drives very quietly and gently on asphalt, but on ice it’s just terrible, comparable to summer, literally this night (-5) I decided to look at the braking distance on an icy road, at a speed of 60 km. H the braking distance was about 30m ! ! I'm just shocked by this! I took this for such grandmothers! I’ve been driving for about 10 years, I had winter tires and henkog, and toe, and khaka, and cordian, they all behaved much better on ice. I don’t recommend this rubber to anyone! I never write reviews, but here I just want to warn people and maybe save lives)! Tyres: michelin x-ice 3, 195/60 r15

Pros
  • very quiet and soft, better than my summer (gordian)
Cons
  • Disgusting performance on ice and snow.
