You can open it with one hand by simply turning the latch. It doesn't matter in which direction though. The lid itself closes tightly, preventing the drink from pouring out. And also it can be disassembled for washing hard-to-reach places.
- - The manufacturer's warranty does not cover the lid. - Also, over time, obviously, the silicone parts in the lid itself will wear out and it is not clear where to buy them to replace them.
