Everything is OK.

Press works as advertised. Heat dissipation from the top plate seems normal, but when the clamshell is closed, the bottom and top don't always align properly. There are gaps from front to back. As you flip the top of the clamshell out of the way for the next stretch, the power cord tends to detach from the control head. This happens about every five times you turn it sideways 90°. Just some trouble. All these presses are made in China, probably in the same factory. So they all seem the same. I have to give high marks for the shipping packaging. It came in excellent condition
