Practical and functional
I only bought this to store my brushes in while painting. This provides a good, accessible place for my brushes to rest without wetting my workspace or cluttering my workspace. It also keeps water from running down the brush handle and dislodging my hair when I put it in a cup. I don't pour water into this mug because to me it's more of a brush holder, but it would be possible if I was painting outdoors. (outdoors with no real workspace) I like that it can go smaller and has a dual purpose.
