Review on PETMAKER Portable Soft Sided Crate by Renee Sagdalen

We bought this for everyday use but didn't find it suitable for that (see pros and cons below). However, we liked it so much that we kept it and used it as a travel cage for our pup to sleep in hotels when we travel because it breaks easily and beautifully. We also had to wait until she was 6 months old to start this. Advantages: Easy assembly and disassembly. Easy to carry. Soft interior. Machine washable insert. Young puppy, the puppy can easily scratch and break the side. Too heavy for air travel or everyday use unless the stretcher stays in your car. (Internal metal rods) Had to send one back because it wasn't sewn properly (replaced and a new one was fine) Lining stuffed with something lame like a thin piece of packaging foam. The straps are not detachable, so they hang awkwardly and the pup will try to play with them. You must remember to "hide" them somehow. Again, we kept it and liked it, but feel free to explore your needs. At first we were very disappointed because it was heavy, but in the end we made good use of it.
