Review on Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD ST1000DM003 by Jnis Hermanis ᠌

Reliability is zero: I bought 2 pieces - one was covered with bad blocks after 8 months, the second one after a year and 2 months. Speed: 4.2 Gb / s maximum, while on the same mother there is a WD Raptor and it presses almost the maximum from the SATA controller 5.9 Gb / s. On similar hardware, there are WD Black and they are already squeezing out 5.2 Gb / s. Disappointed in the Seagate ST1000MD003 series - apparently this is too much of a budget option.
