I seem to be having the same problem as reviewer Robert Virginia below. When used with my Technics SL-1200, the bubble changed position as I turned the spirit level on the spindle and held the disc stationary. If you rotate the plate and level it at the same time, the bubble will rotate with you. Normally you would expect the bubble to stay in place, indicating an uneven surface. nope Perhaps the bubble level is not plumb in its body and/or the acrylic disk holding the level insert is not flat and/or perhaps the spindle bore is not perfectly plumb and/or the black bullseye circle is not properly centered. In addition, the spindle bore is too large, so it sits rather slackly on the spindle. I cut a thin strip of paper to make a spacer for the spindle hole and that seems to have helped but the bubble problem persists. My turntable platter is perfectly flat and checked with a metal ruler. So I know the problem is with the level and not with my player. Looks beautiful. But it's not the exact tool for my CT tuning. Now it's a paperweight.
