they work.kind of for my opinion
basically, i soaked them in water for 15-20 mins and then put them in 1 gallon potting soil filled pots.3 of them just kept letting water through, until the 1 gallon reservoir was half empty.
the rest all seemed to work okay. I'll keep toying with them, maybe a cap is loose or there is too much perlite around the ceramic cap.
