Instructions need to be in package

(ATTACHED PHOTOS show my tin foil method of keeping tubes submerged; the size of the ceramic stakes as compared to a standard toothpick, and the hoses.) These need instructions in the package (not just buried on the product page). If I had sent these to someone as a gift and they didn't have a computer, they would be using them all wrong.I don't know yet if these work. I hope that I have them set up properly. There were no instructions in the package and I went by common sense before I noticed that there are instructions of a sort on the product page (way at the bottom). At first, I used a YouTube video to even learn about products such as this so when I opened the package, I just stuck them in the plants and put the hoses in bottles of water. When I finally saw the instructions, I followed those. I will hopefully be able to tell tomorrow if these are working as they should. I marked one of the bottles so that I will be able to judge if any water was used after about 24 hours. By the way, while there were no instructions, there *was* a reminder to contact the seller with problems before leaving a bad review.I will warn new users to be careful of sitting the newly opened devices on anything that they don't want to leave chalk-like marks on. That was my own fault. If these do work for me they will be a super purchase. I am going to be going out of town in the near future and need a way to keep the plants from drying out while gone. What I don't know is how much water to use for how much time. Also, I am wondering now if there is any other homemade way to create the same process of watering without these devices in case they don't work. I am really glad I got these in time to test them before I really need them.On the Plus side, these were delivered very quickly and none of them were damaged. As as tip to other users about how to keep the tubes far down in the water container without weights (which is something I heard about online), I wrapped some tin foil around part of each of the tubes before inserting them in water. This way the hose would stay down near the bottom and not curl up to the top. My plants should be able to get all of the water even when it gets down low to the bottom of the water container.IF these work, I will be very happy and will upgrade from 4 stars to 5. The price was excellent for the amount of devices and delivery was fast.
