Revain needs to add a no star review! Just verified that my phone is actually working after calling these guys TWICE for help with what appears to be a faulty extension cord and they keep telling me they can't hear me after waiting 15 minutes. The first time I used the button on the Revain product page to call back and the second time I contacted TP Link directly at 1-866-225-8139. The rep literally yells my name and still says he can't hear me, I walk away and walk away. I had to hang up because he kept telling me he couldn't hear me. Immediately afterwards I called someone else and they heard me crystal clear (like every other call I made today). It's hard to believe that this happened on two different call attempts using different methods. Prior to these frustrating calls I tried chat which seems to be using insecure protocols and my browsers (both Mozilla and IE) don't even allow access so chat isn't even an option for me. That's because the 5G LED on their extender never lights up after using both setup modes (WPS and manual) — and yes, I have a dual-band router and work in tech too, so that's me not foreign. I've reset and restarted the extender (and my router) at least 4 times following TP Link's instructions in their user manuals. Only the 2.4G LED lights up. Enough! It's coming back and I'll be buying a NetGear model instead. I have no idea why this is so highly recommended by PC Magazine and others when the support is so bad.
