The fire extinguisher holder does exactly what it is supposed to and has enough strength to hold a 5lb gun without slipping or buckling wiggle. The straps are quite long, the stitching is of good quality. It has plastic buckles but they have withstood a lot of testing loads and I know they won't rust so it's a compromise. It is not possible to trigger a fire extinguisher with the lid open/lowered and drop it on the track. Not difficult to install or reach in an emergency.
