It had a smaller footprint than what I was using for plants -- plus. Easy to assemble -- plus. Tall enough to have 4 shelves receiving window light -- plus. Steady, no wobbling -- plus. It's sturdy enough. It's so lightweight that it doesn't seem sturdy. I have it standing in a corner so no pets nor kids (or big kids) could knock it over. The plants give it weight. I doubt I would use it outside because I don't think it would last 1 year outside.
