Absolutely better than wearing the AFO the doctor prescribed for my foot. I still have to be careful to elevate my foot a bit so it doesn't catch on my toe but sooo much better than the bulky AFO which was really affecting my gait and causing hip issues. I wish I could find a way to use it with other shoes instead of lace-ups. Likewise. Beware the bandage around the ankle is VERY SMALL! I am an average height woman. No extra weight or big ankles. First I ordered Wednesday. It should be listed as "small".
