I bought this type of broom when I was in Thailand a year ago and I really liked it. It's lightweight and picks up dust from hair much better and with less effort than "newer plastic products sold in grocery stores here in the US." I would make the handle a little longer. All my friends who come to my house love it. It's so cute that I hang it in the living room, hallway, bathroom as a decoration and then use it when I need it (which is several times a day). Follow the salt soak instructions before use to avoid loosening the bristles.
