1. I bought this unit to put my computer in a tower case. I was expecting the top shelf to be real wood. When I received the device, I found that it was just a laminate of wood glued to the composite.2. I bought this particular unit rather than the darker painted version because it should have come with feet that I could screw into the floor rather than using wheels. The device came without legs. I even called the company to see if it would come with legs and they said they would.3. When assembling this unit I noticed that many of the bolts and nuts have different threads so they don't match. Of the 24 screws and nuts, 8 cannot be screwed into one another. I have to buy new screws from the hardware store to make sure they work.4. You have two wire mesh shelves to put extra items on. I squeezed them with my hand to see how strong they were. I have noticed that they are quite sharp and that even with a little pressure the welds holding the mesh attached to the frame are starting to come loose. Again I had to go to the hardware store and buy shelving material to cover the mesh to make it stronger and protect me and my belongings from the sharpness of the shelves. Overall I left the shelves because I need something and I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I really wanted this device to work and I was very excited but it gradually let me down.
