This appliance requires a larger cut-out than other 36 inch hobs. accidentally stumbled onto the on position. The knobs offer no precision when turning, there is a lot of free play when turning. The only visual mark on the handle is a small protrusion which is very easy to miss. The glass surface is slightly scratched. Is it basic build quality or poorer quality. I would happily spend a little more for a top of the range device.
