Very simple and clear instructions. Was plug and play for me to replace a broken gear. I reused the clock and printed a plate that looks like an altimeter on an airplane. When someone has worked with a clockwork, the metal parts are very thin. That's the way they should be! This is a delicate process involving handling and assembly! But think about it! It is powered by an AA. The only downside was adjusting the thin hand so that the seconds hand didn't touch the large hand as it rotated. Also the best part. DON'T MISS THIS! It's completely silent! Beautiful sweeping movement verse, click, click, click others! Worth every penny! Now I can sleep without hearing clicks, clicks, clicks!
