Broken Bottle Blues

Love the glue - however the bottle for some unknown reason started to leak from near the bottom - As I was gluing fabric to the kitten box, I noticed that there were glue blobs in places that were not on the agenda. Floor, table. It took a minute to realize that the glue was coming out of the bottom of the bottle. I did not take the time to investigate, but rather put a plastic baggie over the bottom and secured it with one of those wristband rubber bands. It doesn't leak, but being the cheap…

Pros
  • Doesn't dry instant but it get on wood.
Cons
  • The glue can cause skin irritation

It glues wood! good for me

It works! My son had broke one of our kitchen cabinet doors and with some of this glue and a little more fixing, it did the trick. The break is not visible anymore. The only thing I didn’t realize when we purchased, is it is not water based. so don’t get it on yourself or anything you don’t want it on, if you want easy clean up

Pros
  • I loved that this product was easy to use and not messy at all. DISLIKE: The bottle was too small.
Cons
  • The glue might not work well with certain types of wood

Gorilla Wood Glue best in my review

The wooden bracket in one of our closets broke in half. It houses the bar that holds up our clothes. Since we are experiencing a pandemic, I knew that my super couldn't come tend to it so I purchased this product. This glue is extremely strong! It's been holding for a few weeks now. I would definitely buy it again for other products if necessary.

Pros
  • Versatile: Ideal for use on hardwoods, softwoods, and natural wood composites. Is a great wood super glue for a wide variety of wood types and materials.
Cons
  • The glue can cause a mess if not applied carefully

This is very strong glue. I am writing this with one hand as my other is glued to the bottle. Good news is I finished five projects on my honey-do list and this made it simple! It glued things that I did not think it could keep together. When it comes to glue these guys are winning! Don't you want to win with glue again? Buy this!

Pros
  • You pay a little more for the Gorilla produc
Cons
  • The glue might not stick well to certain surfaces other than wood

Works well on craft stick projects

I was looking for a better glue to use on craft stick projects This doesn’t dry as fast as I would like it to but it works very good holding together after it dries! I think the crafts will hold together for a long time! But I haven’t painted my projects yet so I am hoping that it still holds after applying the paint

Pros
  • I like the tip design, it accurately dispenses the glue, stays clean and hasn’t glued itself shut yet.
Cons
  • You might need to use a lot of glue for each project

Wonderful solution for a broken chair

This Gorilla wood glue did wonders to my wooden chair that started coming apart. It was easy to use, just lift the top to open - press down to close. This glue is a good consistency and easy to apply, it dries quickly and blends in with the wood. I applied it and then tied with a rope in lieu of the clamps for overnight. Now my chair is once again as good as new and I'm proud of being able to fix it without any help. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their furniture put together again.

Pros
  • Strong hold.
Cons
  • The cap on the bottle can be difficult to remove

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hard to explain good for me

it works good but is too runny and the cap it came with clogs up constantly even after cleaning. I found a lid from caulk worked much better, so I use that. i never got the lid it came with to work at all. I found adding sawdust thickened up the glue enough to use. Gorilla is one of my two favorite tapes, trex is the other, though both are hard to pull off the roll. I have gorilla glue all over my living room floor it ran so fast, ill have to scrape up, but the door im building is turning out…

Pros
  • These work really well, had to glue some wooden pieces and this did the job.
Cons
  • The glue can be difficult to squeeze out of the bottle

Just works! for my opinion

I got this glue to repair the bottom of a drawer of a cheap desk that kept coming loose. I also squirted some in a few screw holes where the particle board had split. The drawer is now solid as stone and I anticipate it'll hold together longer than the rest of the desk.

Pros
  • The glue holds strong for a durable bond
Cons
  • The glue might be difficult to mix if it separates

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Strong hold best in my review

I used this to glue wood letters to two signs that sat out in the rain for 13 weeks. I didn't use any kind of sealant (I spray painted the wood, but thats it). The sign held up beautifully!

Pros
  • This glue can be sanded and painted over once it dries
Cons
  • The glue might not be as strong as advertised

It works. I fixed my chair.

Works really well. I was able to repair the back of a chair for my dining table that had been cracked for sometime. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • The glue does not require clamping, making it easy to use
Cons
  • The glue can cause damage to adjacent areas if applied carelessly

Good luck removing cap.

Removing the cover of the glue exit point is nearly impossible. No instructions. I had to use pliers to grab and pull the cap off, finally. Glue is fine. Packaging NOT !

Pros
  • The 8-ounce bottle is a value for the price
Cons
  • The glue can be difficult to remove from tools

Holds strong - my new review

One of my closet doors broke (the internal wood structure that held the pin in the rails broke off). The wood block that came off is structural and holds the entire weight of the door - about 25 lbs. I wasn't sure if wood glue would work, but since a new door was pretty expensive I figure why not give it a try? This glue delivered beyond expectations. Easy to apply, dries quickly (but not too quickly!), cures in 24 hours, and the bottle reseals. Has held my closet door up for a week so far with…

Pros
  • This product is versatile and can be used on a wide variety of wooden objects
Cons
  • The glue can be challenging to apply to vertical surfaces

Glue is glue? best in my review

Good glue. Doesn't run as much as Elmers and Titebond I or II or III or ?, but seems to be strong. Sets up a little faster then I like but I'll just plan my steps better.

Pros
  • The natural wood color is perfect for color-matching repairs
Cons
  • The glue can be challenging to apply in cold temperatures

Really worked well. Nice glue

Used this to fix some broken dinner chairs. Used the glue and held it together with painters tape because I'm too cheap to buy clamps. After it dried it worked like a charm very satisficed with how it held up.

Pros
  • This natural wood color option matches seamlessly with most wood finishes
Cons
  • The glue can be too thin or too thick depending on the batch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's sticky glue - my new review

Super easy to work with, wipes clean with a damp cloth, but when used properly creates a bond that split wood before coming apart.

Pros
  • Gorilla Wood Glue is suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Cons
  • The glue can be challenging to stir if it's too thick

Good product on my review.

We ordered this from Revain so we could get it fast without have it delivered. We used this to put together a prefabricated beehive. It worked great and I would recommend it. We got some of it on the viewing window of the hive and it wiped off easily with a wet cloth. When this bottle is empty, we will be purchasing it again.

Pros
  • The packaging is compact and easy to store
Cons
  • The glue might take too long to dry in humid or cold weather

Great stuff! - my new review

Love Girilla glue. Works great easy top to pop off and wash. BUT even with that and a piece of saran wrap covering the neck and screwing down the top it does dry out after a couple months. Only buy what you'll use in the next 12 month.

Pros
  • Gorilla Wood Glue is great for bonding wood-to-wood and wood-to-other materials
Cons
  • The glue can be slippery when wet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I use it for a lot of wood projects

I glued the back on two drawers just the other day with this stuff. After 40 years, the original glue gave out on the dovetails. I used this glue, hammered the piece back into place, and set it aside to dry. It holds really well and is ready for another 40 years in the chest of drawers! Cleanup is really easy as well.

Pros
  • This product is easy to find at most hardware stores
Cons
  • The glue might not be suitable for an indoor environment

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best wood glue - my new review

Fantastic wood glue for all your wood-related projects. The no-mess (really low-mess, because all glue is inevitably messy) tip prevents over-application of the glue. What I really like is that this is not a one-use product, because the tip design keeps the glue from drying and clogging. I've used this product, stored it for months, and then used it easily again.

Pros
  • This product can be used on both indoor and outdoor furniture
Cons
  • The glue might not work well with certain wood glue applicators

Best glue ever! best in my review

I love this glue! I bought a wooden tray table on Revain that started falling apart. The screws would not stay in. I didn't want to throw it away because it is beautiful and I love it so I decided to give this wood glue a try. Worked like magic! This table will not fall apart again! Words of wisdom - make sure you have the wood in correct place before the glue sets. The little drawer on the side of my table will no longer slide in. Oopsy!

Pros
  • Complete Projects Fast: Requires only 20-30 minutes of clamp time, fully cured in 24 hours. Quickly creates an incredibly strong bond for wood projects.
Cons
  • The glue might not work well with certain finishes
