Review on Pack Of 1 Natural Wood Color 8 Ounce Bottle Gorilla Wood Glue by John Mceachern

Holds strong - my new review

One of my closet doors broke (the internal wood structure that held the pin in the rails broke off). The wood block that came off is structural and holds the entire weight of the door - about 25 lbs. I wasn't sure if wood glue would work, but since a new door was pretty expensive I figure why not give it a try? This glue delivered beyond expectations. Easy to apply, dries quickly (but not too quickly!), cures in 24 hours, and the bottle reseals. Has held my closet door up for a week so far with no signs of weakness.Very minor cons: It's a bit on the runny side - i.e. when applying the glue, gravity will make it drip so have some paper towels handy.and maybe put some cardboard on the floor. Also make sure you have some clamps handy to put pressure on the wood while it dries & cures for the strongest bond.

Pros
  • This product is versatile and can be used on a wide variety of wooden objects
Cons
  • The glue can be challenging to apply to vertical surfaces
